MCP Server — ylishi.tools API

🧩 What is this?

MCP is the open standard that lets AI assistants call external tools. This single-file server (ylishi_mcp.py, MIT licensed) exposes 9 read-only tools backed by the ylishi.tools Public API — no database, no signup, no API key required to start.

⚡ Free demo tier: 20 requests/hour per IP, minimum 2 seconds apart (client-side paced automatically). Need more? Set YLISHI_API_KEY — get one free (200 req/day).

⚙️ Setup (Claude Desktop)

1. Download the single file:

Requires Python 3.10+ with pip install mcp. The server speaks stdio transport. Optional env vars: YLISHI_API_KEY (higher limits), YLISHI_API_BASE (default https://ylishi.tools/api/v1).

⚠️ Error Handling
