The uplift is $0.20 on Small Standard up to $8.51 on Extra-Large 150+ lb, and it is decided by the ship date: a unit shipped on 14 Oct 2026 pays the normal fee, the same unit shipped on 15 Oct 2026 pays the peak fee, and the fee reverts on 15 Jan 2027. Note the composition order — the 3.5% fuel & logistics surcharge is charged on the uplift as well, so it is (base + overage + uplift) × 1.035, never (base × 1.035) + uplift. Amazon's headline "~$0.32 per unit" is a network-wide blended average, not any single tier.
